The First Amendment.

The first amendment was created to protect speech that may be considered offensive, divisive or controversial. It protects certain actions as well. That’s the whole point of it. If no one ever said or did anything offensive or controversial, there wouldn’t be a need for a first amendment; because nobody would be offended. Think about it.
